Job Description:
Group’s Corporate Sales department is looking for a Product & Customer Support Specialist to work full-time in an interesting job that requires strong skills in multiple areas.
The ideal candidate must possess at least 1 - 2 years working in sales and customer service, preferably in a telephone contact environment. In addition, the applicant should have experience in coaching telephone agents in a call center, and have self-confidence and the ability to resolve escalated customer service issues. Knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential, and experience with Oracle customer relation management software is preferable. Candidates should also have a thorough knowledge of the internet. Job responsibilities include: answering sales agents’ product, procedural, and computer system questions; assisting customers with Group’s electronic and web-based products; taking orders and using appropriate sales techniques to enhance sales; assisting sales supervisors with training and coaching both new hires and regular agents; work in the call center approximately 50% of the time. Applicants should also be able to use initiative, be flexible and adapt to rapid change, possess excellent oral and writing skills, have excellent typing skills, and be able to sit at a computer station and wear a telephone headset for up to eight hours a day.
