Job Description:
If you are a skilled data entry person who also loves talking to people and using your problem solving skills, Group’s Corporate Sales department is looking for you. Applicants should have 1 - 2 years experience in data entry and perform 10-Key by touch. Working cross-departmentally to mutually develop procedures and resolve issues with multiple types of orders is vital. In addition, the ideal candidate must possess at least 1 - 2 years working in sales and customer service, preferably in a telephone contact environment. A thorough knowledge of the internet, Microsoft Office is essential, and experience with Oracle customer relation management software is preferable. Applicants should have excellent typing skills, and be able to sit at a computer station, use repetitive motion on a keyboard, and wear a telephone headset for up to eight hours a day. Job responsibilities include: processing orders from areas such as conventions, faxes, e-mail, and U.S. mail; set up and release Group’s quarterly automatic curriculum shipment program; handle call center overflow calls, which includes taking orders, answering customer questions regarding various products, resolving customer problems, and keeping current with all Group’s products and sales selling systems. Excellent time management skills and performing multiple tasks simultaneously is an integral part of this position.
