Job Summary

The Administrator is responsible for developing, planning, directing, and controlling broad activities needed to ensure the long-term success of the GHS Cancer Program in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Drives the Cancer Program objectives to ensure financial stability through short and longe range planning in order to achieve and maintain sustainable profitable growth. Responsible for creating an environment that engages hospital system Leadership, service line managers, employees and physicians in accomplishing Cancer Program goals. Maintains overall responsibility for the operation and activities of the Cancer Program except those activites directly involving the practice of medicine. Supports and adheres to the GHS Standards of Behavior.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

Job has direct and/or indirect supervision of employees that may include final budget authority, hire/termination/disciplinary authority, performance appraisal responsibility. Job will be considered a member of the management staff with direct reports..

Minimum Education

Masters Degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Management, or related business field (MHA or MBA preferred).

Minimum Experience

7 years - P&L responsibility for an organization with $100M in net revenues. Strategic, operational, and financial experience in a healthcare services business where the primary drivers are growth, productivity and quality service. Credible working with hospital system executives, service line administrators, and physicians. Experienced in a matrix management enviornment.
