Job Description
The Lead CAD Technician will be responsible for coordinating and managing CAD standards and drawing production efforts for the Design Center. The Lead CAD Tech will direct a group of engineering technicians, designers, or CAD technicians of various levels of capability to produce drawings on various size Water business line projects as well as assist the Design Center Manager with the development and control of budgets, schedules and workload for department/project technician staff. The Lead CAD Tech will also serve as a member of the Garver CAD Standards Committee and help further develop company CAD standards, software tools, and technician training.
Basic Qualifications
10 years of drafting experience working for a professional engineering consulting firm in preferably more than one discipline (piping, structural, electrical, I&C, Controls, mechanical, HVAC, process).
Applicant must have a high school diploma and 2-year technical degree.
