Responsibilities:
Project management and coordination with all engineering departments - planning, budgeting - managing contractors, interfacing with plant engineering departments for implementation for both small and large projects. These projects will be both small and large. Supervision of Plant Engineer. Large projects will consist of plant expansion projects requiring coordination of contractors for building of new structures as well as the systems within the structures.
Qualifications:
Ten plus years experience is preferred in Project Management within a heavy industry such as steel, metal tubing products, engineering firms, civil engineering, construction, etc. Management experience. Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems and their integration into mechanical systems within a plant - foundations and mountings, etc. Candidate should have knowledge of gear boxes, drive trains, material handling equipment, electro-mechanical systems within plant.
Education:
MS ME or MS Civil Engineering or MS Structural Engineering highly preferred
Compensation:
DOE plus bonus
