Job Summary:
- Provide process engineering support to drive continuous improvement in the current Pultrusion and Extrusion Processes. Lead cross-functional team in developing cost effective methods of Pultrusion to produce products that meet performance, quality and cost objectives.
- 3-7 years of a proven performance in a manufacturing environment that yielded cost reduction via enhancements, yield improvements and material cost take-out.
- Specify, justify and acquire Capital equipment needed in order to successfully improve our quality and cost position as it Pultrusion.
- Establish and maintain effective reports so as to measure the performance of the Pultrusion processes.
- Develop processes, from concept to commercial launch, in Pultrusion.
- Use of statistical methods, such as but not limited to "Design of Experiment", to be used in the task of improving our competitive advantage to deliver a quality product at a competitive cost.
- Analyze complex problems, determine root cause and effectively address root cause issues.
- Use of background in the chemistry, both thermoset and thermoplastic materials, will be used to address complex problems associated with improvements to and development of the processes.
- Specific expertise with epoxy, vinyl ester and polyester resin chemistries, as they pertain to fiberglass composite materials processing, will also be required.

Educational Qualifications:
BS Chem Eng or ME 3 to 7 years of product and or process development working with highly specified composite structures and assemblies
Compensation:
$70 - $100K based on experience
