Job Description:
Position is responsible for originating residential mortgage loans in a highly competitive environment by soliciting, negotiating pricing, initial underwriting, and projecting closing of complex residential loans in compliance with Secondary Market and or Bank lending policies and procedures. Will present Bank’s residential mortgage products to realtors, builders, housing authorities and other housing related businesses within the Originators defined market area. Must participate actively as member (Associate) of various Realtor and builder professional and trade associations; participate at officer or committee level for at least one association. Participate with residential Real Estate Department in developing and working market strategies, trade expositions, call programs, and other Bank related community events, usually held after hours and on weekends.
To be considered, candidates must have a minimum of five years successful experience with origination, mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing of conventional, FHA, and VA loans within the local market. Two to four years of college with A.A. or business degree preferred.
