Description
CONSUMER LOAN UNDERWRITER
The candidate for this position will assist in organizing consumer loan packages for internal underwriting while adhering to regulatory compliance requirements. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing credit reports, approving or denying loan applications, and marketing additional Fidelity Bank products and services to our customers. The candidate will have daily interaction with internal customers to convey credit decisions, review necessary documentation and arrange loan closings while making sound credit decisions.
Requirements for this position include a high school diploma (or equivalent) and two years of lending experience, preferably with an emphasis in consumer real estate underwriting. The candidate must have a strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat, strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent public relation skills. The ability to work late and/or flexible hours required.
