The candidate will be responsible for posting mortgage loan payments to customer accounts accurately. The candidate will provide loan payment status information and answer internal inquiry on behalf of external customers regarding mortgage loan accounts. The candidate will collaborate with internal customers to research and find solutions to payment situations and payment history questions. Other responsibilities include sorting payments, obtaining loan numbers, writing payment reversals, balancing total checks and other miscellaneous processes involving mortgage loans.
Requirements include a high school diploma (or equivalent), 1-2 years loan servicing experience and/or familiarity with loan documents preferred. Basic computer and ten key skills required. Strong math and communication skills including verbal and written required. Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills required.
