Job Details:

Site Reliability Engineer for Equifax Inc. in Alpharetta, GA, to configure software to automate consumable services for infrastructure and applications using state-of-the-art DevOps principles. Empower development teams through the introduction, development and/or maintenance of efficient tools and processes. Ensure continuous, high velocity delivery and automated deployment through the use of software provisioning, configuration management, source code management and/or team collaboration applications. Build Automation Work with Agile development teams to ensure smooth promotion of code, configuration and Docker images to production. Identify single points of failure and other high-risk architecture issues. Propose and implement more resilient resolutions. Investigate root cause of severe and systemic outages and identify corrective actions. Work in a DevOps environment responsible for the building and running of large-scale, massively distributed, fault-tolerant systems. Work closely with development and operations teams to build highly available, cost effective systems with extremely high uptime metrics Work with cloud operations team to resolve trouble tickets, developing and running scripts, and troubleshooting (added to Intermediate). Create new tools and scripts designed for auto-remediation of incidents. Establish end-to-end monitoring and alert on all critical aspects.

Requires: 

Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus one (1) year of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or related occupation with experience in DevOps or site reliability engineering or, alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus three (3) years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or related occupation with experience in DevOps or site reliability engineering. Speci?c skills/other requirements - Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): configuring, customizing, and extending monitoring tools: Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk; Continuous integration tools: Jenkins, SonarQube, JIRA, Nexus, Confluence, GIT-BitBucket, Maven or Gradle; managing Infrastructure as code via tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation; large scale cluster management systems: Kubernetes, Docker; and configuration management and automation: Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef.
