Job Details:
Quality Automation Engineer (SDET) for Equifax Inc. in St. Louis, MO, (Multiple Positions Available) to develop test strategies, automate tests using test frameworks and write moderately complex code/scripts to test solutions, products and system. Create test harnesses and infrastructure as necessary. Demonstrate an understanding of test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases and debugging. Responsibilities include achieving a continuous testing objective that facilitates quality delivery, reduces manual test efforts, increased efficiency and execution time and cost reduction. Providing reporting data and dashboards to ensure visibility of quality across products, builds and environments. Execute post-deployment verification plans and record results. Generate code quality reports (Sonar Qube) and put code through fortify scans via automation. Follow software development life cycle to ensure proper adherence to Engineering Handbook (including Security). Ensuring enforcement of testing policies, standards and guidelines to drive a consistent testing framework across the business. Participating as a global team player and lead, pro-actively and collaboratively take part in all testing related activities and establish partnerships with key stakeholders in the Product Management, Development, and the Technology Operations teams to drive overall Quality Engineering from inception to production. Effectively balances quality and speed to deliver expected results.
Requires:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus three years of experience as a Quality Automation Engineer (SDET) or related occupation in software QA automation or software development or, alternatively, a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and one year of experience as a Quality Automation Engineer (SDET) or related occupation in software QA automation or software development. Specific skills/other requirements - Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): conducting performance tests, including 1 of the following: capacity, load, soak testing, or coordinating resiliency or chaos testing; At least 2 of the following observability tools: AppDynamics, Lighthouse, Datadog, DPA, Splunk, or GCP stack driver; Cucumber, Jmeter, or JIRA; SQL queries or SQL server database(s); Postman, NonSQL, (RDBMS) TestNG, or Junit for unit testing; and CI/CD using Maven or Jenkins.
