Job Details:
Data Analytics & Wrangling for Equifax Inc. in St. Louis, MO, (Multiple Positions Available) to develop strategies, standards, and best practices in the areas of data wrangling, analyze internal data assets, create impactful data visualizations, and enable our internal business leaders to make data-driven decisions. Develop new statistical processes to create metrics to track the ongoing quality across Equifax data assets. Utilize data mining tools and programming languages to prepare data for analysis and visualization. Design new statistical methodologies and execute investigative data analyses of moderate complexity in response to business requests for internal and external customers. Review metrics for statistical anomalies and perform statistical analysis to determine causation and probability, and develop solutions for stakeholders to implement corrective measures. Perform statistical analysis and integrate Equifax, customer data and third party data to solve unique analytical solutions. Analyze new sources of data to quantify quality, uniqueness, coverage and overlap with Equifax sources. Summarize, document, and communicate results of data analysis to non-technical partners and peers. Utilize Big Data tools, responsible for gathering and organizing disparate data sets for the creation of insights. Develop and collaborate extensively with Data, Analytics, Operations, and Technology leads to ensure the seamless consumption of insights generated from Equifax’s new big data analytical platform.
Requires:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Analytics, Statistics or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus three years of experience as a Data Analytics & Wrangling or related occupation in data analytics, Big Data management, or data manipulation and visualization or, alternatively, a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Analytics, Statistics or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus one year of experience as a Data Analytics & Wrangling or related occupation in data analytics, Big Data management, or data manipulation and visualization. Specific skills/other requirements - Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): data wrangling, data visualization, or data integration; Azure, AWS, or GCP; SQL, Python, or Tableau; building, loading, transforming, or analyzing data; and At least one of the following: Hive, Impala, SparkSQL, Shell, Python, Bitbucket, Github, BigQuery, DataFlow, Python, SAS, SQL, Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
