Job Details:
Financial Analyst for Equifax Inc. in Alpharetta, GA, to perform the most complex and interpretive financial analyses and compliance tasks; analyze and organize financial and operating data, identifying cost problem areas or profit opportunities; prepare recommendations for forward financial planning and for company financial committees; provide proactive insightful financial analysis to enable the BU/COE to reach its short- and long-term strategic and financial objectives, directly interfacing with senior management to deliver financial information in a concise and meaningful manner to foster effective decision making while driving appropriate action plans which respond to opportunities and issues; lead the development of budgets and periodic forecasts which reflect objective assessment of market conditions, key business drivers (price, volume, sales wins, etc.), and key strategic and operating initiatives; support monthly forecast with driver-based models, including assessment of risks and opportunities for management review; support annual budgeting and strategic planning process in support of corporate objectives and support quota-setting process for applicable sales channels and/or business units; serve as active partner with the management team to identify and address financial and business issues, bring effective information to bear, and support timely decision-making; manage a small team of direct reports and oversee their regular responsibilities of forecasting and reporting; set, follow, and push project timelines and deliverables for multiple business units; take ownership of all Technology spending including analyzing risk and capital expenditures; subject matter expert for Finance within the USIS Technology platform; and create and present complex business cases including the concept of Capitalized Development spending.
Requires:
Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus four (4) years of experience as a Financial Analyst or related occupation in technology finance or, alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and six (6) years of experience as a Financial Analyst or related occupation in technology finance. Specific skills/other requirements - Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-divisionally to build project plans and business cases to support plans; Manage multiple financial or technology projects (both annual and multi-year); Develop and manage complex financial forecasts, covering both labor and non-labor technology expenses; Develop and implement KPIs/ OKRs to connect technology activities with business outcomes; Support business teams in managing vendor relationships with data driven insights and strategies; and Oracle, Tableau, Hyperion, and Vendor onboarding solutions (Beeline).
