Job Location: DLB - Capitol - Dallas, TX


Responsible for leading the warehouse team in a productive, efficient manner in order to obtain goals regarding lead times and fill rates of order processing, accurate receipt of goods and the smooth flow of production lines. Assist Warehouse Manager/Supervisor in ensuring that every team member is trained and effective in their positions.


  • Lead and provide direction to the warehouse employees on a daily basis. Monitor quality of work performed by team and report any problems to Warehouse Manager/Supervisor, if needed.
  • Effectively communicate with team members; maintain a positive attitude and a willingness to share knowledge and teach/train with team.
  • Monitor, update, and communicate all relevant KPIs with warehouse employees with a focus placed on consistently meeting or exceeding established goals.
  • Assist with maintaining organization and cleanliness of the warehouse area; report needs for maintenance and equipment to the Warehouse Manager/Supervisor.
  • Positively embrace and promote all safety and continuous improvements initiatives.
  • Oversee activities of the team in order to ensure:
    • All orders are picked, processed and labeled correctly while maintaining appropriate timelines.
    • The accurate generation of shipping data and that appropriate paperwork accompanies orders.
    • Correct shipping information is entered to generate shipping labels, packing slips, and invoice batches.
    • FedEx and UPS orders are packaged, labeled and shipped accurately.
    • That incoming materials are accurate to their bills of lading and materials are distributed appropriately in a timely manner.
  • Maintain proper rotation of order pulling to distribute stock appropriately while verifying that material movement within the warehouse is entered into the warehouse automation system for traceability.
  • Ensure an adequate supply of warehouse materials and supplies are maintained.
  • Forward receiving paperwork to the Logistics office in a timely manner.
  • Assist with inventory.
  • Flexibility to perform other job duties as assigned


JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE (List as required or preferred)

Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred


  • 3-4 years experience in a warehouse environment with a proven attendance record.
  • 1-2 years experience in a leadership role, warehouse environment preferred.
  • Two years experience using Microsoft products required. Experience using Microsoft AX preferred.


  • Knowledge of truck lines and transportation guidelines.
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills necessary to work effectively with a variety of individuals and skill levels.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of company policies and procedures.
  • Math and computer skills necessary to create and/or update documents and spreadsheets.
  • Knowledge of operational processes, systems, tools, and workflow for assigned area.
  • Ability to express and share knowledge and ideas in a team environment.


  • Current valid drivers license required.
  • Must maintain a current forklift certification.
