Job Details:

Eldor Automotive Powertrain USA, LLC is seeking a Production Engineer in Daleville, VA responsible for developing and supporting automated ignition coil manufacturing process line; Train and develop Technicians on various productions modules; Conducting root cause analysis of automated production issues; Applying resolution of technical and automation issues arising during shifts; Proposing improvement programs to management; Supervising process applications regarding costs, reliability, and industrial realization; Driving continuous improvement of processes; Analyzing production processes, schedules, methods, and other data; Preparing and submitting reports to management containing data and statistics; Analyzing and planning workflow, equipment placement, and space requirements to improve manufacturing efficiency; Recommend methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities; Reviewing and calculating labor, material, and other production costs; and developing management systems.

Requirements to include: 

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or related (foreign equivalent acceptable), and 12 months of experience in the job offered or related process engineering role, including experience in productions, manufacturing or automotive, as well as working with quality Systems in the automotive sector; Lean Manufacturing principles; SAP; Microsoft Office; and utilizing robot, winding, welding, and camera system technology processes.
