Description
The Dixon Group seeks a Chief Financial Officer responsible for executing the organizations financial strategy. The candidate must have strong analytical, strategic planning and communication skills, including an ability to work well with the chief executive officer and other senior managers.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of experience in accounting and finance including a minimum of 10 years in a management role. Masters degree and/or professional accreditation is preferred. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of all aspects of generally accepted accounting principles and corporate tax.
Responsibilities:
- Providing strategic management of the accounting and finance functions
- Maintain corporate banking relationships and be the primary point of contact
- Lead the organizations risk management programs (manage all corporate insurance plans)
- Monitoring cash flow and meeting with the CEO to provide financial direction, identify investment opportunities.
- Directing accounting policies, procedures and internal controls
- Recommending improvements to ensure the integrity of a companys financial information
- Hiring, training and retaining skilled accounting and finance staff
- Managing or overseeing the relationship with independent auditors
- Overseeing financial systems implementations and upgrades
