Bearon is looking for a CNC Lathe Bar Machine Operator/Programmer to join our team in Landisville, PA! This person will operate and program CNC Lathe Bar machines (Swistek). Must be able to perform the following functions: operate and program machines as required; maintain a clean and safe work area; must be open to perform any other duties as required; must be able to follow all processes and procedures related to machine operations and inspections. - Set up and operate CNC Lathe Bar Machines
- Verify positioning of cutting tools by using gauges or other instruments.
- Install and adjust tooling, pick off collets and stops on the machine.
- Work safely around equipment and co-workers
- Daily maintenance activities
- Flexibility with rotating assignments
- Work as part of a team
- Label finished product and keep track of material used in production
- Mechanical aptitude, preferred
- Great attitude and attendance
- Ability to use hand tools and read blueprints
- Ability to use measuring tools and shop mathematics
- Ability to stand for 8 hours
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds over the course of a shift
