Description

Dixon is looking for a CRM Data Processing Specialist to join our team in Chestertown, MD! Do you enjoy the thrill of the chase for results? Do you place high importance on details? Are you looking for a people-focused & results driven team? Then this could be the position for you! We are seeking an enthusiastic data integrity-minded individual to take on a variety of data tasks, including, but not limited to, data entry, prospect/leads research, and the cyclical review and cleanse of records. The primary goal of this position is to support efficient lead follow-up through our CRM by researching & processing prospects/leads. This is an ideal role for someone eager to learn about teamwork, sales processes, & marketing. Previous experience with data entry & a Bachelors degree is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work with a CRM that houses 60,000+ customer/prospect records
  • Assist in maintaining the CRM`s overall data integrity and standards
  • Compile and process leads, assign to sales representatives, evaluate and cross-check against any possible disqualifying data
  • Process & update records resulting from events, marketing campaigns, outside sales efforts, and other sources
  • Establish a system to assess, monitor, and report on own data processing quality ensuring resulting data allows for superior marketing and campaign performance
  • Use various resources and tools to perform research, collect and interpret information on customers/prospects/leads and, as necessary, prepare findings into summaries for review
  • Perform research on prospective companies business activities to interpret and apply industry classification codes, establish a deep understanding of the Dixon customers and markets
  • Verify company and contact changes by phone or email, as needed
  • Assist with responding to CRM user inquiries
  • Regularly enhance and preserve CRM records with accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail
  • Assist with various quality assurance reviews, including, but not limited to, reviewing data entered by other CRM users

COMPETENCIES:
  • Ability to remain at a desk working on the computer for the majority of the day
  • Possess data processing skill/experience and attention to detail
  • Experience or willingness to learn MS Excel, Salesforce, Google Sheets/Docs, Smartsheet, and other technology or systems
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to resolve problems
  • Ability to work through and interpret complex information
  • Good at investigating situations to get relevant information, adept at asking probing questions to successfully obtain quality information
