Buck Foundry is looking for an experienced CNC Programmer join it`s team in Quarryville, PA. As the CNC programmer you will be working on computer numerical controlled (CNC) machinery that automatically mills, drills, or reams metal and/or plastic parts. You will perform adjustments to adhere to established specifications or to correct faulty programming, as well as make general decisions as to quality, tolerances, and operation sequence. - Daily programming of CNC machines
- Understand and interpret programming code (G code)
- Understand tolerances, design intent and features
- Quality control of parts
- Able to identify machining issues and make adjustments as needed
- Work with in safety compliance of our company
- Strong CNC programming and technical knowledge
- CAM and CAD background
- 3D Modeling
- Ability to set up machines quickly and accurately for the next job
- Be able to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 70 pounds over the course of a shift
