PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB:
Support and manage setup of Form 33s, Price Change Forms, and order writing (SSO) for low in-stocks, modular presentations, and features. Assist and support as a backup for DSS point-of-sales (POS) database including the creation and distribution of weekly and monthly reports along with expansion of POS information. Facilitate and assist in preparation of Sales data requests/ analyses and account presentations. Utilize POS Reports to monitor and support 100% store in-stock, adequate modular presentation, and good feature sell-through. Assist in data sync of new items and item maintenance.
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
Keeper and manager of item setups such as Form 33s, Price Change Forms and Data Sync creation documents
Generate SSO’s for features, seasonal builds, top 400 stores by modular, and out of stock items
Extract, analyze, and manage DSS POS for Wal-Mart
Completing defined weekly and monthly reports
Conducting ad hoc reporting
Supporting customer growth
Assist Manager of POS Analysis and Systems Automation in maintaining data and system support in development of DSS and other reporting tools.
Provide weekly and monthly reporting
Provide overall system management and support
Integration of POS information into corporate and category reporting structures
Analyze reports and recommend strategies to ensure store in-stock
Generate buyer reports to include but not limited to 52 weeks report, Seasonal Build feature sheet, Special Buyer Scorecard, Buyer Order/ Item Tracking sheet, Defective Returns, and Order Tracing in Wal-Mart Inforem and Coleman SAP system.
Assist in Coleman sales analysis need for Store of the Community (STOC) efforts in store clustering, event tracking, sales tracking by store, mapping of results, and overall presentation of STOC project
Provide and present ad hoc sales analyses to account selling team and buyers
Works with Sales Team to create reports for support of Sales
Requires regular attendance to perform essential elements as contained herein between the assigned start and end times for work.
All other projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications
A Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or approved equivalent
2 to 3 years work experience in sales analysis required
Minimum of 1 year vendor team experience required
Prior work experience in Wal-Mart Sporting Goods a plus
Strong communication and relationship building skills
Demonstrated computer proficiency in Office 2007 (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint) and Retail Link. Wal-Mart Inforem Replenishment System a plus, not mandatory.
Ability to organize and logically prioritize ones own work
Must be self-motivated and able to work in a team environment
Minimum 2 years vendor team experience required
WORK ENVIRONMENT /PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
Exposure to physical activities typically includes modular set-ups and loading/unloading products. Physical activities can consist of sitting, standing, walking, and lifting/carrying of less than 40 lbs.
