Insurance VerificationSpecialist
This position will be responsible for the daily activities involving insurance verification with the goal of obtaining insurance certificates in the proper format to verify coverage and perform other tasks related to insurance verification. The successful candidate will:
- Be able to analyze many variables such as state requirements and risk.
- Proficient in Excel, specifically in the use of v-lookup and pivot tables is required.
- Have the ability to communicate effectively and uphold a high level of customer service.
- Possess negotiaton settlement skills.
- Detailed oriented and possess organizational skills in a multi-tasking environment.
- Be a success driven individual who has demonstrated success in claims, adjusting or an insurance specialist role.
Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of insurance coverage, contracts and claims handling.
- Previous experience with commercial general liability, commercial auto and work comp coverage.
- Experience in the field of insurance verification or claims management.
- Associates degree or equivalent is preferred; continuing insurance education would be a plus.
