Description
Full & Part Time Positions Available! Holidays and Weekends are required.
PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE
To sell Ski & Snowboard School products and provide guests with a variety of information relating to both the Ski & Snowboard School directly and the resort in general (specials, resort conditions, special events, etc).
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide superior service to our customers (internal and external) at all times. Follow The Resort’s etiquette guidelines while interacting with guests and respond to all guests in a courteous, professional manner.
• Maintain positive public relations with parents, visitors and the general public at all times.
• Set up and open/close the Ski & Snowboard School Sales Cabin on a daily basis.
• Sell and print tickets for Ski & Snowboard School products, lift tickets, and rental products.
• Accurately answer guest questions and provide them with a variety of information relating to services, products, special items, resort conditions, special events, etc.
• Provide information on determining which Ski & Snowboard School products best suit the guests’ wishes.
• Balance cash and credit card receipts at close of each day.
• Answer incoming phone calls and accurately book reservations into our sales and reservations system.
• Schedule guests for private lessons, group lessons and specialty workshops.
• Perform other tasks as required.
WORKING RELATIONSHIP
Direct supervision from Sales & Reservations Supervisor. Work with a variety of departments throughout The Canyons. Work closely with tickets, rentals, concierge and other various departments.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Exposure to inclement weather conditions.
• Ability to sit/stand for extended periods of time.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Desire to work with and relate to guests and fellow employees. .
• Ability to take initiative, be highly organized, effectively communicate, and manage guests’ needs.
• High School diploma or equivalent, plus customer service/sales/cash handling experience preferred.
• Positive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Strong reading, writing, administrative and organizational skills.
• Ability to converse clearly and comfortably with a variety of guests.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of Park City and surrounding area preferred.
Must be available to work any of the 7 days of the week. Holidays and Sundays are required.
