Job Details:

Braskem America, Inc. seeks a North America Business Manager – Specialty Chemicals in Pasadena, Texas responsible for procuring, hiring, firing, assigning work to, and supervising catalogue of professional sales vendors throughout North America, including those providing market research, distribution, sales and management consultancy, and logistics services; Planning and executing 800,000 USD annual budget for operations, logistics, monetary incentives, and third-party vendor expenses/contracts of Specialty Chemical Sales activities in North America; Overseeing and directing sales activities for Braskem's specialty chemicals product lines in North America; representing Braskem at trade shows and; and managing customer relationships. 20% Domestic and 10% international travel required. 

Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related (foreign equivalent), and 96 months of experience in job offered or related, including 8 years in the petrochemical industry; and product development and technical knowledge related to selling C5 Monomers (Isoprene/Dicyclopentadiene/Piperylene), PIB (polyisobutylene) and HCRs (Hydrocarbon Resins) products.
