Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent
Demonstrated ability to set up and operate production equipment
Must have basic mathematical and recordkeeping skills
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, to learn standard operating procedures, and to complete routine written reports
Ability to perform routine work with consistent quality and dependable accuracy
Possesses basic computer skills
Obtains fork truck certification
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Capable of legibly making entries into batch records, log books, protocols and status tags according to SOP's. Must be very detail oriented
Capable of following written directions of batch records, protocols, company policies, good manufacturing practices and SOP’s
Capable of operating the majority of the equipment associated with one of the following production areas: Packaging; Sterile Liquids Manufacturing and Filling; Solids Manufacturing and Filling; Specialty; Oral and Liquid and Suspension Manufacturing and Filling, and Medicated Feeds Manufacturing, Filling, and packaging
Must complete all training as assigned to include general company procedures, area procedures, equipment operation, computer operation, safety, GMP, BPE, and other as needed
Performs Clean up after processes have been completed
Performs all duties associated with weighing, measuring, counting, and calculation. Accurately records information on batch records
Capable of effectively working with computing devices such PC, PLC, RF Gun or other common or specialized devices to perform assigned duties
Knows and follows safety rules, wears appropriate safety equipment and maintains proper safety practices at all times. Able to operate a fork truck
Must be able to operate in controlled conditions that may include specialized gowning, safety equipment, be able to work on feet for extended periods, and be able to lift 40 lbs on a consistent basis
