Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, update and implement marketing plans for the assigned products
Position Benefits and Features to competitive advantages for each product
Advertising and Promotion campaigns to maintain emphasis
Brand Management, understand the impact of other products and other countries
Project Management
Manage assigned projects for best outcome to the desired benefits
Interact with the swine team in an effort to determine best positioning of projects
Forecasting of all assigned products
Develop and maintain a forecasting system for the assigned products
Sales training and education
Coordinate product training and education of the sales force to reinforce key benefits and features of our products in support of our strategic positioning
Customer account responsibility
Have account interaction with selected customers to maintain direct interaction in the decision making process and use of our products in the field
QUALIFICATIONS
College degree in agriculture or marketing
3 – 5 years’ marketing or product/customer experience in the swine industry
Good interpersonal skills and customer service and a team-oriented attitude
Strong communication skills (oral, written, presentation)
Good commercial understanding from sales, product management experiences or equivalent
Working knowledge of forecasting and budgeting process
Thorough working knowledge of swine production practices
Strong desire to serve the pork industry, veterinarians, and pork producers
