Job Description Responsibilities
Responsible for samples collections of viable and non-viable particulates from the pharmaceutical and biological manufacturing and filling areas.
Responsible for data collection/storage and summary reports.
Responsible for all necessary investigations involving environmental monitoring.
Responsible for isolate identification and data base, thereof.
Responsible for the evaluation and implementation of new techniques introduced by Research & Development and or 9CFR and 21CFR.
Responsible for the development and implementation of standard operating procedures, quality standards, and validation of test methods.
Supervise and train bargaining unit personnel within the Microbiology section of Quality Control.
Qualifications
Minimum of BS degree in Microbiology. 3-5 years of environmental monitoring and Microbiological QC laboratory experience desirable.
Knowledge of statistics, personal computers, and bacterial identification system .
