Position:            

Director, Data Ops and Core Data Services in Charlestown, MA (Position is remote and can be performed within a commutable distance to Charlestown, Massachusetts)

Duties: 

Direct product development and support for short and long-term strategic vision and plan. Manage Data Ops and Core Data Services team focused on all activities related to foundational technology behind Data Warehouse/Hub, Analytics tools development, configuration management, cloud data application services and orchestration. Create impactful data foundation and ensure the delivery and performance of business solutions through collaboration with hospital leaders and Infrastructure teams to understand the technology, infrastructure and security landscape. Collaborate cross-functionally through relationship-building to manage priorities and drive results. Leverage knowledge of Healthcare Provider Cloud Data Frameworks, DataOps tools and technologies and Cloud Data Platform Services and solutions. Provide assistance and collaboration to other teams, ensuring that all technologies and teams work effectively together to implement and improve products and processes. Prioritize projects and features, stakeholder management and tracking of commitments. Guide the team to make sound operations decisions while improving stability, reliability and security. Establish an environment that stimulates innovation and creativity and maximizes patient and provider experience. Assist in planning, monitoring and/or managing budget in functional area of department. Supervises 16 Database Specialists, Consultants and Architects.

Requirements:               

Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology, Information Technology or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus six (6) years of experience as a program manager or related occupation performing product development, DevOps tooling and automation or, alternatively, a no degree and eight (8) years of experience as a program manager or related occupation performing product development, DevOps tooling and automation. Special Skills/ Other Requirements: Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) designing Cloud framework and foundational architecture, Cloud Subscription for data to ensure adequate security and firewall protection to store PHI level data for the enterprise in the Cloud environment; DE defining, designing, and implementing DevOps solutions including Roadmap, reference architectures, tools recommendations, practices, and processes; DE leading continuous automation and improvement of processes, and directing the governance framework related to DevOps; and DE developing and maintaining service level agreements, and ongoing management of service level compliance with partners and third party vendors.
