Duties:

Will be responsible for teaching a variety of undergraduate and graduate-level courses in Cybersecurity and work with fellow faculty members to build and strengthen the new Cybersecurity undergraduate curricula for the Department of Computer Science. Advise undergraduates and supervise Masters of Science students. Participate in Cybersecurity curriculum development, including ABET accreditation work as well as engage in ongoing scholarship and professional activity. Help build out hardware, software, and network infrastructure to benefit the Cyber program. Perform outreach activities to promote the Cybersecurity discipline. Write grant proposals to public and private organizations to benefit the Cybersecurity community. Demonstrate commitment to improving access to higher education and Cybersecurity studies for underrepresented groups.

Requirements:               

Doctor of Philosophy in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Applied Mathematics, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with a focus in Cybersecurity (willing to accept foreign educational equivalent) and no experience. Experience must include (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section) (experience may be gained as part of educational program): Demonstrated expertise (DE) conducting research on Cybersecurity related projects, seeking funding, and disseminating results; DE leveraging forensic tools, or other hands-on Cybersecurity work; DE in network security administration and/or network architecture design; DE in Cyber security and networking curriculum development and outreach; DE working with students of diverse backgrounds and commitment to improving access to higher-education for marginalized groups. Salary: $86,528.00/year.
