Job Description:
New Pathology Lab needs someone to carry out a variety of moderate to complex laboratory techniques including: flow cytometric analysis and sterile sorting, development and implementation of fluorescence assays, tissue cell culture of monoclonal antibody producing cell lines, purification of antibodies using affinity purification columns, ELISA assay development and implementation, and immunohistochemistry techniques.
You must be able to collect data and critically analyze individual experiments under the supervision of the responsible investigator and maintain adequate notebooks. Record keeping is extremely important. You will participate in the analysis and design of experiments with the responsible investigator. You need to maintain a well stocked, tidy, and safe lab environment and occasionally provide written and oral communications of your work. You need a BS/BA Degree with 1-3 years of experience. Must meet all state and local licensing requirements where the laboratory is located and must meet CLIA requirements. Working knowledge of State and Federal regulations governing laboratories.
