Job Location: Rye, NY
Job Description:
In this position you will accession after ensuring specimen has arrived into the laboratory. You will Dictate a gross description for each biopsy specimen, dissect and prepare tissue for cassettes, Gross core needle biopsy and all anatomical pathology specimens, prepare dissected tissue specimens and place into cassettes and load prepared cassettes in Tissue Processors. You need to have experience with Operation of tissue processors, H&E stainer and cover slippers and able to gross 20 - 30 blocks per hour. Special certification and/or degree with experience is required. You will also need to be able to work 8:30pm-5am M-F.
Compensation/Benefits:
$18-$20hr
