Job Details:
AIP Management US, Inc. seeks an Investment Manager in New York, NY, responsibilities include Source and Evaluate Opportunities to Determine if Suitable for AlP's Investment Priorities: Evaluate incoming investment opportunities, prepare one-pagers and present at weekly team meetings; Participate in screening meetings with market intermediaries; Use AIP's Proprietary Investment Process to Execute Investment and Deal Work: Prepare AIP team decision material, IC recommendations and IC presentations; Conduct and direct financial modelling and financial analysis on a deal as well as valuation outputs, and proactively ensure alignment with investors' view on risks and sensitivities; Provide support to senior team members on the overall transaction management; Manage certain due diligence (DD) work streams, including analysis of DD findings and extracting key conclusions for negotiation purposes, and be able to clearly articulate findings to the overall deal lead; Assume responsibility for select parts of the legal documentation and/or project contracts and analyses; Use AIP's Proprietary Investment Process to Perform Asset Management Functions: Upon completion of an investment, continue to support the investment until fully handed over to the asset management function; Drive AlP's Branding and Values: Assume responsibility for the delivery of recurring operational items/tasks. This will be allocated to each individual on an ongoing basis; and actively work to ensure ESG compliance throughout AlP's investment process.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Engineering (foreign equivalent acceptable), plus 60 months experience in job offered or in related corporate finance, management consulting, or private equity role. Experience to include: Private equity or infrastructure buy-side investing, investment banking, project finance and/or related infrastructure operating company experience; Strategic consulting with previous experience in infrastructure assets may also be considered; Working proficiency in operating and valuation models, including discounted cash flow analyses; and Expertise in industry and/or asset types, especially with respect to infrastructure.
Alternative experience:
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Engineering (foreign equivalent acceptable), plus 36 months experience in job offered or in related corporate finance, management consulting, or private equity role. Experience to include: Private equity or infrastructure buy-side investing, investment banking, project finance and/or related infrastructure operating company experience; Strategic consulting with previous experience in infrastructure assets may also be considered; Working proficiency in operating and valuation models, including discounted cash flow analyses; and Expertise in industry and/or asset types, especially with respect to infrastructure.
Any suitable combination of experience of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
Salary is $292,427.00 per year.
