Responsibilities: Responsible for the transition of Participating Acquisition Resource Manager (PARM) role and responsibility to PMA-213 and the management of cost, schedule, performance requirements for sustainment of the DDG 1000 IFF Sensor Suite. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure sustainment requirements for DDG 1000 IFF Sensor Suite are adequately resourced and executed. Perform and/or coordinate all duties as Participating Acquisition Resource Manager (PARM) for the DDG 1000 IFF Sensor Suite.
Manage the DDG 1000 sustainment and modernization budget to include: building spend plans, updating budget exhibits, planning and executing sustainment activities/contract actions to meet obligation and expenditure bench marks, and coordinating POM Issue sheets for gaps in the budget across the FYDP. Create artifacts such as briefs, schedules, risk sheets, meeting minutes and procurement or acquisition-related documentation. Perform management duties such as running meetings and telecons, briefing, and tracking action items, and responding to data calls. Travel as necessary to accomplish PARM responsibilities.
Education: MS or MA degree from an accredited university in a Business, Management, or "Relevant Technical Discipline".
Allowable Substitution: BS or BA degree form an accredited university in Business, Management, or "Relevant Technical Discipline" and an additional four (4) years of experience; OR an additional ten (10) years of experience may be substituted for a MS or MA degree.
Experience: At least ten (10) years experience in program management, technical, or business analysis discipline, related to weapon systems acquisition and life cycle management; and a minimum of six (6) years out of those 10 years of work experience related to analysis and planning. Familiarity with SECNAV, OPNAV, and OSD forms related to PPBS, Military Interdepartmental Procurement Requests, Work Requests, Requisitions, Contract Data Requirements List, and DD254 is required. Demonstrated experience in the program/project status, earned value management and schedules.
Other: Must have an Active Secret Security Clearance.
