SHAREPOINT DEVELOPER (Req 19 089) - Program Management Contract

Job Location: Patuxent River, MD
Department: Program Management Contract

Responsibilities: Provide Senior Program support to the PMA-213 Naval Air Traffic Management Systems providing experience to develop and maintain custom SharePoint solutions to include Microsoft Office, Nintex Workflows, Web Parts and InfoPath forms. Analyzing and implementing products per customer requirements. Use analytical and technical skills to link business requirements into logical design solutions. Document, design, and assist with development for potential SharePoint solutions will include:

  • Integrating MS office products into SharePoint
  • Developing collaborative portals
  • Customizing automated forms
  • Designing complex process work flows
  • Creating custom lists, document libraries, wiki pages and web parts

Develops automated tracking tools necessary to support programs. Uses established fact-finding approaches, knowledge of pertinent work processes and procedures, and familiarity with related computer programming practices, system software, and computer equipment. Carries out fact finding and analysis as assigned, usually of a single activity or a routine problem; applies established procedures where the nature of the system, feasibility, computer equipment and programming language have already been decided; may assist a higher level analyst by preparing the detailed specifications required by computer programmers from information developed by the higher level analyst, may research routine user problems and solve them by modifying the existing system when the solutions follow clear precedents. May plan, coordinate, and facilitate information system related activities such as upgrade of hardware and software, program and system design development of computer networks, and implementation of internet and intranet sites. May assist in the upkeep, maintenance and security of networks. Ensures the availability, continuity, and security of data and information technology. Recommends and supports process improvement initiatives. Additional tasks will include: assisting with calendars, training and overall program administration, coordinating facility trouble calls, documenting competency training requirements and records, maintaining phone and e-mail distribution lists, and coordinating conference room schedules for Executive Leadership Team.

Education: BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a "Relevant Technical Discipline".

Allowable Substitution: AS or AA degree form an accredited university in Business, Management, or "Relevant Technical Discipline" and an additional four (4) years of experience; OR an additional eight (8) years of experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.

Experience: At least six (6) years experience with information systems in multiple IT resources, such as the Defense Security Assistance Management System (DSAMS), the Defense Integrated Financial System (DIFS), and the Management Information System for International Logistics (MISIL).

Other: An Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
