American Foods Group is searching for our new Service Desk Support Technician II to join the rapidly growing Information Technology team in Green Bay, WI. As the American Foods Group Service Desk Support Specialist II, you will:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for IT by responding to telephone calls, email, and personnel requests for technical support.
  • Be responsible for reviewing service desk ticket queues, documenting support, diagnostic activities, and escalating issues as required.
  • Promote cross-team relationships with other IT support team members to facilitate timely responses and resolutions.
  • Monitor progress and keeps customers informed while providing excellent customer service.
  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and general support of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, handheld scanners, and peripheral devices.
  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and general support of all IT approved software applications.
  • Be responsible for creating and maintaining documentation (knowledge) for installing and troubleshooting issues in specified areas of responsibility.
  • Provide detailed personal advice and guidance to all users in the effective use of systems, products, and services available to them.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Service Desk role or related experience.
  • Customer focused with the ability to promptly answer support related email, phone calls, and other electronic communications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment where requirements are constantly changing.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional follow through and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent is preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in Service Desk role or related experience.
  • Strong time-management and prioritization skills, able to multi-task and prioritize competing requirements and meet deadlines.
  • Relevant industry recognized certifications (HDI Support Center Analyst, CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, etc.
