Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Develops and implements strategic marketing plans, brand building, and customer development efforts for the foodservice division.
  • Stays abreast of changes in the marketing environment to best serve the objectives of the division and adjusts plans accordingly.
  • Researches, develops, and recommends marketing practices for the foodservice sales channel.
  • Performs a variety of tasks including occasional corporate level projects.
  • May lead and direct the work of others in the Marketing department.

Marginal Functions:
  • All other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Familiar with a variety of fields concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Self-motivated and a problem solver.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Excellent communication skills, positive energy and ability to interface effectively across a wide range of functions and levels
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Creative, adaptable, and flexible
  • Typically reports to the head of the Marketing department.

Education, Training, and Licenses:
  • Bachelors degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in foodservice industry.
  • Strong business sense and deep understanding of food industry market dynamics.

Additional Requirements:
  • This position requires traveling up to 20-30%
