Position Name: Mobile Device Administrator

Location: Green Bay, WI

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Technical understanding for activating, configuring, phone number porting, contact transfers, and troubleshooting mobile devices, which includes smartphones, flip phones, tablets, air cards, and MIFI devices.
  • Work closely with vendors for support with mobile device activations, deactivations, procurement, troubleshooting, and device replacement.
  • Conduct research for mobile device equipment, accessories, and airtime services.
  • Receive, review, and validate monthly billing from service providers for mobile airtime services.
  • Leverage support of MDM provider to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Provide technical support for all mobile device issues via our ticketing system, telephone, email, and in-person.
  • Manage users and ensure user data is accurate in the MDM solution (Airwatch).
  • Participate in Testing and QA for new iOS releases.
  • Monitor and control mobile device inventory and mobile asset management along with metrics that illuminate efficiencies or opportunities for growth.
  • Implement all aspects of mobile device lifecycle from receiving assets to testing and repurposing. Play an active role in decommissioning mobile assets and disposing of legacy equipment, receiving frequent shipments including terminations and new business inventory.
  • Create and maintain documentation to include Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Configuration Documentation, Policy Documentation, and Training Documentation.
  • Executive level, high visibility support of mobile devices.
  • Provide after-hours troubleshooting and/or on-call availability as needed.
  • Continuously look for and execute on opportunities to improve service and the end user experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong customer service abilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written. Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within field. Performs a variety of tasks.
  • Technical aptitude and ability to research and solve simple to complex technical issues.
  • Ability to effectively communicate issues and resolutions within IT.
  • Ability to work within a team and established standards.
  • Experience creating documentation for all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of mobile device hardware and software, specifically iOS platform.
  • Working knowledge of VMWare Airwatch, MobileIron, or other Enterprise level MDM solutions.
  • Vendor management experience (Verizon, ATT, Sprint, etc).

Education, Training, and Licenses:
  • Certification(s) in area of specialty is a plus.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or in area of specialty is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in the field or related area.
