Abbott Labs in Lake County, IL seeks qualified Sr Scientist II, R&D. Resp for serving as Tech Lead for Alinity/ARCHITECT ci-series assays, a complex, integrated clinical chemistry & immunoassay diagnostic lab system. Masters or foreign equiv in Biomed Eng, Life Sci, Physical Sci or in closely rltd fld of study w/ min. 1 yr of exp in: (i) maintaining compliance w/ Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Lab Practices (GLP), ISO:13485 & FDA & Clinical Lab Improvement Amendment (CLIA) regulations (21 CFR 820); (ii) designing experiments & performing exploratory testing & troubleshooting to resolve issues; (iii) analyzing logs, raw data & Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) utilizing software & programming languages; & (iv) prevent disruptions in product availability & improve product quality.
