Job Details:

Abbott Labs in Austin, TX seeks qualified Sr Data Scientist. Lead strategy for operational data analysis & data system development to support divisional mfg efforts w/in US. Masters or foreign equiv in Math, Applied Stats, Data Science or in rltd quant fld of study w/ min. 3 yrs of exp in: (i) Developing Extraction, Load & Transformation (ETL) pipeline processes using Python & JMP programming languages & Power BI for Power BI dataflows & dashboards; (ii) SQL database tools; (iii) Git/GitHub software version ctrl software; (iv) creating impactful & information visualizations of mfg environment operational data & research using data visualization capabilities of Python, JMP, Power BI & Aveva PI; (v) monitoring mfg processes, identifying trends in mfg performance, identifying areas of improvement & w/ keen understanding of mfg process, collaborating w/ process engineers to identify root causes; (vi) performing software validation activities w/in a med device quality environment where necessary w/ an emphasis on adhering to software system lifecycle requirements. An EOE. 40 hrs/wk.
