Abbott Labs in Lake Forest, IL seeks qualified Sr Infrastructure Eng. Participate in development & deployment of system & software (SW) architecture to support informatics product development programs. Masters or foreign equiv in Comp Sci, SW Eng, Electrical Eng, or Biomed Eng or in rltd fld of study (Will accept Bachelors + 5 yrs of rltd progressive pro exp in lieu of Masters). Each alt requirement w/ min. 3 yrs of exp in: (i) Cloud Platform Infrastructure & Services on MS Azure Cloud, incl Identity mgmt, VPN, Network Access Ctrls, Data Pipelines, Storage, & Cloud Security; (ii) Kubernetes & Helm charts; (iii) Kubernetes w/ GitOps using Helm Charts & Flux CD, following Agile methodologies, to manage infrastructure & app configs; (iii) maintaining DevOps tools &  techs s/a GitHub, Jenkins & Artifactory; (iv) reviewing & documenting infrastructure designs based on inputs from Platform Architect during implementation; (v) programming languages incl Go, Python & JavaScript; & (vi) operating in Scrum-based development teams.
