Munro & Company, Inc. is a leading manufacturer and marketer of footwear. The Company, founded in 1972, is the owner of Munro American, America’s premier brand of high quality women’s shoes, boots and sandals all made right here in Arkansas. The Company also markets imported children’s footwear under the name Jumping-Jacks Shoes.
One of the Company’s three factories is Lake Catherine Footwear located in Hot Springs on the banks of beautiful Lake Catherine. In addition to the manufacture of women’s shoes, Lake Catherine is home to the company’s product engineering and development department. Munro’s Fred Young Center, located nearby is home to the Company’s corporate offices as well as its distribution center and its retail outlet store.
