ISS directs its marketing attention predominately toward Government contractors and federal agencies. We have current and past subcontracts with multiple firms in the Oak Ridge area. Through these subcontracts and agreements, ISS provides a variety
of services for multiple federal agencies. Examples include toxicological services for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), environmental services for the Department of Defense, health physics services for the Center for Disease Control (CDC), meteorological services for Homeland Security and business services for the Department of Energy. These efforts, on behalf of the federal agencies, are in addition to the business and environmental services we provide in direct support to the prime contractors.
The goal at ISS is to provide an innovative approach to meeting our customers’ unique needs faster, better and cheaper, using tested, reliable, cost-effective solutions. ISS can provide a full range of products and services, either individually or as an integrated project delivery system, to a very diverse group of industries. This integrated service approach strengthens the company and allows ISS customers access to a multitude of services through a single provider. It gives those customers flexible, streamlined tools to meet their requirements, obtain top-quality services at best value, reduce acquisition time, reduce cost, minimize resource requirements and benefit from the ISS socio-economic status as a small, HUBZone-certified business.
ISS employs highly trained and self-motivated individuals with excellent credentials. Current employees include professionals with degrees and professional certifications such as Ph.D.’s, Certified Health Physicists (CHP), and Certified Meeting Professionals (CMP), Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.), and multiple Master of Arts (M.A.) degrees.
