The City of Summerset is a young community that was established to enhance the health, welfare, safety, economic opportunities, education opportunities and quality of life of its citizens. It is the intent of the City to preserve the scenic and historic values of the area and to recognize the desire for a small-town character that encourages appropriate growth and family-oriented development.
