The Story of Connecting Cultures
What started out with a simple goal: to connect cultures in a community through language services, has grown into something no one could foresee.
We've created a business model that meets the business needs of health care by providing sustainable job opportunities for interpreters. We've developed training and development programs for health care interpreting professionals. We've created logistical and administrative systems that give our customers and our interpreters peace of mind. All of this gives CCI an expertise that continues to make the language access responsibilities of health care professionals easy.
I am proud of the programs we've developed and of the people I've worked with over the years.

Our passion today is the same as it was when we opened our doors: if we can take care of our interpreters and their families, then they will meet the needs of the providers that have dedicated themselves to meeting the health care needs of our communities. Only then can there be equal access to health care for limited English speaking populations
Health care interpreting gives people the opportunity to understand one another. It's not just a language. It is experiences, traditions and drivers that make people who they are. Interpreters make it possible for people to ask questions and understand their new, and growing, communities because they become part of the canvas that makes up entire organizations.
Our purpose is to give health care access to language access resources and systems. This requires interpreters that achieve and maintain standards similar to those of other health care professionals. To meet the needs of health care, interpreters need the opportunity to develop and grow in a career that offers job security. Only then can health care and interpreters collaborate to connect the cultures in our communities.
