Ministry Health Care in Milwaukee, and the Wheaton Franciscan of Wheaton, Illinois, jointly sponsor Affinity Health System. The sisters' tradition of caring for people in our region began a century ago.

Affinity Health System Organizational Structure:
Affinity Medical Group

Formerly La Salle Clinic, Affinity Medical Group's roots date back to 1938. The group has grown to include 23 clinics located in Clintonville, New London, Appleton, Winneconne, Kaukauna, Darboy, Menasha, Greenville, Little Chute, Neenah, Chilton, Oshkosh, Kiel and Ripon. It is now the largest multi-specialty group practice in the region, with nearly 200 physicians and other medical providers, and is the fifth largest in Wisconsin.

Calumet Medical Center has a 50-year history of serving the communities of Calumet County and surrounding areas, reaching into Fond du Lac, Manitowoc and Sheboygan counties. It is the only hospital in Calumet County. The Affinity Medical Group Chilton clinic and The Children's Center daycare and preschool are also conveniently located on the Calumet Medical Center campus. With specialty services in cardiology, OB/GYN and orthopedics, quality care is located care close to home.

Mercy Medical Center proudly serves the Oshkosh community with a history of more than a century of quality care. Our new facility provides total health care, including emergency/trauma care and surgical services as well as many medical specialties such as cardiology, oncology, orthopedics, intensive care, obstetrics and neurosurgery. Mercy is the home of the Kennedy Center for the Hip and Knee, a nationally recognized program for hip replacement. With 157 patient beds and more than 300 medical staff, Mercy Medical Center treats patients with dignity and compassion.

Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO)

Affinity Health System is accredited by the JCAHO, an independent, non-profit organization that recognizes hospitals and health care systems for compliance with national standards of quality and performance.

Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare

As one of the largest integrated regional health care delivery systems in Wisconsin, Wheaton Franciscan organizations provide one-fourth of the total health care delivered in Milwaukee, Waukesha, Washington, Racine, and Ozaukee counties.

The Wheaton Franciscan Sisters have been providing health care and spiritual aid to Fox Valley residents for more than 100 years and established St. Elizabeth Hospital in November 1899.

Ministry Health Care

Ministry Health Care, sponsored by the Sisters of the Sorrowful Mother, is a regional health care system founded in 1984 to assure the viability and further development of the Sisters' ministry and includes fifteen hospitals long-term and assisted living facilities, home health agencies and community centers in Wisconsin and Minnesota.

The Sisters of the Sorrowful Mother has been providing health Care and spiritual aid to Oshkosh area residents for more than 100 years through Mercy Medical Center, founded in 1891.
